California Announces Decision to Register MIDAS® Golden State Will Be 48th to Register Methyl Bromide Replacement Cary, NC (December 1, 2010)—Arysta LifeScience today announced the California Department of Pesticide Regulation (CDPR) will register MIDAS® for commercial use once regulations take effect to designate the fumigant as a restricted material. CDPR’s decision follows an extensive scientific review and is welcomed by growers seeking an effective alternative to methyl bromide. California will be the 48th state to register MIDAS.

Arysta LifeScience Fungicide Approved for Use on Sweet Corn CARY, NC (October 19, 2010) – Arysta LifeScience North America, LLC announced today the Environmental Protection Agency approval of EVITO Fungicide for use on sweet corn. The Agency approved the expansion of the label for use on wheat, as well. Prior to these expansions, the EVITO label included corn, soybeans, fruiting vegetables, celery, peanuts and potatoes.

Arysta LifeScience Strengthens U.S. Wheat Herbicide Portfolio with Development of a New Brand – NextStep™ NG CARY, NC (August 31, 2010) – Arysta LifeScience North America, LLC., announced today an agreement with Syngenta Crop Protection, Inc. to purchase Clodinafop, one of the best Group 1 herbicides available today. Under this agreement, Syngenta Crop Protection will supply Clodinafop 60EC, the formulation in Syngenta Discover® NG herbicide, to be marketed by Arysta LifeScience as NEXTSTEP™ NG.

National FFA & Arysta LifeScience Award Scholarships National FFA & Arysta LifeScience Indianapolis, April 28, 2010 – The National FFA Organization awarded five scholarships on behalf of Arysta LifeScience North America. Students who received the scholarships included Kenneth Block of Atascadero, Cali., Benjamin Reinig of Claudia Castro of Safford, Ariz., Joshua Troester of Eldorado, Ill., and Collin Gronseth of Mitchell, S. Dakota. The scholarships were awarded as a special project of the National FFA Foundation. Arysta LifeScience is a nine-year supporter of FFA.

Arysta LifeScience North America Receives Approval of Expanded Fungicide Label CARY, NC (April 6, 2010) – Arysta LifeScience North America announced today the expansion of the EVITO 480 SC Fungicide label to include corn, soybeans and strawberries. The Environmental Protection Agency approved the expansion of the label, which originally included only fruiting vegetables, peanuts and potatoes.
